Invocation of the Twenty-Seventh
A ritual in hemacrystalline on the 26|26
⸻K N I F E
Break upon me, crown of cinders
in this place of Winters
made the length
and breadth of Midnight
Twenty-six —{AND COUNTING}—
In this place of snowless silence
wait I, smould'ring
shocked in blue and blush
with ebon coils 'round my
neck
Winged flurry at my back
and wonder why —{I WHIMPER}—
⸻F L A M E
Smite upon me, black and bright
sword of change and chrysalis
and kill within the ending
endless serpent ever eating up the
shadow here
Below
me
—{AND DRAW ME RED}—
For sinking endless
narrow
straits
bring but the
harrow of the shade
⸻B L O O D
Draw the letting red, begetting
Bleeding brightly scarlet white
and glass in this Cathedral
crossed in crossroads
Fourthly
Threefold
reaping rapture from my flesh
running hemacrystalline o're rot
until the spiral, ruin, rat is but a phantom —{BLADE}——{FLAME}—
And bleed I here in manifold

I LOVE THIS PIECE.
It’s so lyrical and flows so well but the unique style you bring to it elevates it to another level. It was very unexpected but so fitting to the content of the piece. It made it HIT. Well done Fable. Good stuff.
I hope you don’t mind me pointing out but I think you’ve spelled AND as AMD in there but maybe it’s me who’s missing something.
