The Speakers in the Grave
Homage to Invictus in the Valley
Out of the dark that covers me I see a boy who mirrors me he travels grimly backward still in places straight and terrible ⸻Invoke the blade I tread beyond Summons bade the three along and black as pitch from pole to pole There walks a Wolf a Fox and all For in this place of ash and tears there looms a shadow ling'ring near whose eyes have coloured blacker still in places straight and terrible ⸻Invoke the spade the Cat upon and silver red in fractals yawns A grave, a pit from pole to pole And down We plunge we Three and him It matters not how grim the grave how lain with anguishes the soul We are the Speakers herein laid We are the pieces buried whole

First!
World class poetry. Honestly. I expected nothing less and yet still you delivered in ways I didn’t anticipate. This is a poem to be read and read again. Great stuff my friend.
You’re an ‘Explorer’ trying this or that creative, talking to the much larger heard, settlers. You’re innovations brillance, is disruttive to the settlement, new ideas, what we have now is all we need. Defend the staus quo. It’s not an error, fricton between the two, is evolution to the better. Quick id are you a sett;er or explorer:
which is better? 100% on a test, or errors on a test?
Fable Wolfe - is like jazz, brain has to adapt think anew for some it’s purring love. For others it does not confrom to settler type, too many unkowns unease hearing. True explorers are vastly different than predoninate settlers.
Both ethos are required, innate, you will become one or the other, (yes hybrids exist), take either one away, evolution stops stagnats.
FYI - loved ‘Fable Wolfe’ made me think outside the box, I leaned and smiled, at that creativity innovation shown. BRAVO amigo
